I know i'm supposed to meditate but frankly I find it really difficult to commit to the practice even though I know it'll make me feel better. Here is a gurly meditating in a peaceful nook in her house. Her dogs are with her and she's next to a fireplace. Behind her hang some pictures on the wall. Inside the frames are ceramic decals featuring my dog Pete, the Geico gecko, a gila monster, and a bird pattern. The plate is 9" x 9" x 1.5". It is completely functional but also has holes in the foot to string cord through if you'd rather display it on the wall.
Each piece is wonkily handbuilt. If you are looking for a pristine piece of handmade ceramics then this is not it! It is built securely but with character. It is food and microwave safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it. Each piece is one of a kind, made out of earthenware clay and painstakingly sgraffito-ed with goofy imagery.
