I found this little note in a sketchbook from a few years ago and I really liked it. I don't know what it's from and I tried to look it up so it's a mystery. Maybe I made it up. I drew this hiker who looks out over a purple, orange, and blue vista at the end of a long hike. It's worth it. This dish is 6" x 13" x 1.5". It's great for charcuterie or crudite, or serving long veggies like charred broccoletti or grilled carrots. It is completely functional.
Each piece is wonkily handbuilt. If you are looking for a pristine piece of handmade ceramics then this is not it! It is built securely but with character. It is food and microwave safe, but I would recommend lovingly hand-washing it. Each piece is one of a kind, made out of earthenware clay and painstakingly sgraffito-ed with goofy imagery.
